Biography
San Francisco native Drummer/Producer Jaz Sawyer has performed and recorded with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, George Benson, Phil Lesh& Friends, Abbey Lincoln, SF Symphony, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Irvin Mayfield and others. He holds two degrees; Bachelor of Fine Arts & Master of Public Administration and runs his Pursuance Records Label.
In addition to performances and recording, he is actively involved in communities in the Bay Area, New Orleans and New York to continue his mission to improve music education for youth by and teaching music workshops across the nation.
