Biography

One of the all-time great jazz drummers, Joe redefined modern jazz drumming on such classic recordings as 'Take Five' and 'Blue Rondo A La Turk', with the Dave Brubeck Quartet. His articulate sticking, fluency in odd-time signatures, and his musical solos elevated the role of drumming in jazz to new heights. Joe will forever be a legend among legends.
