Feb 29, 2008
Friday February 29th 2008 at the Alrosa in Columbus Ohio Rod Morgenstein hits the stage with 80's band, Winger. Rod has been running between his work at Berklee, songwriting sessions in Nashville Tennessee working on his own compositions, solo CD work and taking time to fit in another tour. This run lasts about 6 weeks running thru the Midwest from the end of February into the beginning of April that looks to be a warm-up for what will potentially become a Summer "Package Tour" with other bands performing in the larger theaters and some sheds in various locales.
Rod is using his Vault Tri-Top Ride allowing him the ability to go from the Dry Ride surface to the Lighter-Edge for quick crashing and the Raw Bell for cutting thru the heavy amplification challenges he's exposed to on a regular basis.
Rod proves
he's one of the most versatile, technically proficient and in-demand drummers
on the scene today so do yourself a favor, look out for Winger (or The Dregs
& Ruddess/Morgenstein)...
