Chris Sutherland Rocks the Carp Fair with Kim Mitchell

Earlier this year Kim Mitchell began touring in support of his new record Ain't Life Amazing. Recently the tour rolled into the Ottawa region with a stop at the Carp Fair. Kim one of Canada's finest guitarists was joined on stage by long-time bassist/vocalist Peter Fredette and Chris Sutherland on drums/vocals.

During the show the band played hit after hit from Kim's extensive catalogue of songs. Including Rocklandwonderland, Patio Lanterns, All We Are, That's The Hold, I Am a Wild Party, Ain't Life Amazing and even a few Max Webster tunes.

Chris Sutherland commented on his SABIAN cymbal set-up "I use a variety of models including the explosion crashes, a Signature Series ride, HHX O-Zones and a Chopper these cymbals really allow me to compete with the guitar amps while maintaining their tonal qualities." 

As the show concluded Kim and the boys performed one of his biggest hit's Go for Soda, this tune being a crowd favorite had the band back on stage for an encore within minutes.
