World-renowned jazz fusion drummer Billy Cobham announces an unprecedented multi-city American tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of his breakthrough album, Spectrum, which is widely regarded as one of the genre’s most significant and influential works.

The upcoming Spectrum 40 Tour will brilliantly showcase Cobham’s explosive, complex style of play, which has thrilled music aficionados around the globe since the early ‘70s when he was a founding member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Today, after decades of boundless musical exploration, the versatile Cobham continues to evolve and innovate as a master drummer, percussionist, composer, producer, educator and clinician--as audiences around the country will soon experience through the unforgettable Spectrum 40 shows.

In what promises to be a mesmerizing series of performances in unique music venues throughout the Northeast and West Coast, Cobham brings together an all-star support group for this landmark tour, featuring Jerry Goodman (violin); Dean Brown (guitar); Gary Husband (piano) and Ric Fierabracci (bass).

Cobham notes, “The Spectrum 40 Tour represents the culmination of my ever-expanding, deepening lifetime journey of creative expression.
