One of the hottest new names on the British funk scene Pete Biggin has played and recorded with such prolific artists as Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and Tinchy Stryder, to name but a few. He has recently been working and touring with pioneers of the Acid Jazz movement Incognito, who have just released their 30th Anniversary DVD. Filmed at the O2, it features Pete on drums alongside another SABIAN Artist Karl Van den Bossche on percussion.
Pete now sits in the drum chair for legendary funk band Level 42. Commenting on his new role Biggin says, “This is like a dream come true – Level 42 have always been one of the favourite bands I used to practice to when I was younger, and now here I am playing with them!” For more on Pete check out www.myspace.com/petebiggindrums
