SABIAN artist, Ludvig Nilsson, contacted us last year when he was approached about a new project. He’d been asked to work with two composers, Enrico Renna (Conservatorio di Musica San Pietro a Majella di Napoli) and Par Lindgren (Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm), on a new work entitled "Language of the bell".Needless to say, one of his first calls was to SABIAN to acquire the range of sounds that this new work required. Ludvig is using a whole range of SABIAN instruments to produce the sound palette imagined by the composers in this piece. The complete list of instruments he is using are:HH Suspended Cymbal SetHHX Suspended Cymbal Set2 ‘Sprymals’17" Vault Crash18" Vault Crash18" Chinese HHX20" Chinese HHX22" Wind Gong26" Zodiac Gong2 sets of crotales8" Chopper12" Chopper7" Aluminum Bell9" Aluminium Bell10" Triangle – HH 4" Triangle – HH 6" Triangle – HH 8" Triangle
