For over a decade TUESDAY has contributed his wide range of sound as a Drummer for the Hit Making-Machine of a band WHILD PEACH. The members of WHILD PEACH have been a part of the "Atlanta Sound" as session musicians, co-producers and live band support for the most successful, Award-winning artists to emerge from the Atlanta Scene. Up to the present TUESDAY has worked the demands of his Live/Hybrid drums by touring, recording and performing onstage with an impressive growing list of artists including Whild Peach, Fo Twinni, Joi, -Khujo Goodie, Goodie Mobb, Xavier-Chocolate Butterfly, Dionne Farris, Me & this Japanese Guy, Sleepy Brown, Bloodsugar, Killer Mike, Dead From $ex, Urban Grind, Tracy Amos, Konkrete, The Purple Ribbon All Stars and OUTKAST . Tuesday has spent much drumming life developing a style that allows him to flow freely through many musical styles and work with a diverse list of artists. It is evident as you experience TUESDAY at work that his goal is as a tastemaker, blending the collective sound of the band’s dynamics. To this he remarks," From this perspective I benefit by feeling good about myself, my choices as a Musician and, my contributions to the world of arts." Every moment TUESDAY plays, he envisions it as a moment to make a difference and keep Live-Music breathing in the ever changing music scene.
Have you seen drummer TUESDAY or Whild Peach? Chances are you have. Over the years they’ve performed all over the world with Platinum selling, Grammy award winning hip-hop super stars Outkast. If you missed them on the Stankonia, Speakerboxx, or Idlewild tours then maybe you caught them on: Saturday Night Live HBO’s Chris Rock Show The 2004 Grammy Awards The 2003 American Music Awards The David Letterman Show BET’s 106 And Park HBO’s Reverb MTV’s TRL The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno Good Morning America The ESPY Awards The 2004 MTV Video Music Awards Forming in Dallas, Texas, Whild Peach made the move to Atlanta in 1994. After their deal with Capital Records went ended the band started over on the show circuit performing the biggest venues in Atlanta. Taking several years in breaking down long existing genre walls, the band assembled a unit that Atlanta’s most respected artists jumped to be a performing part. While the rappers tend to get most of Musical the credit, Hip-Hop music, particularly the southern kind, which relies heavily on live instrumentation, doesn’t get made without the work of musicians like Whild Peach. They’ve spent the last ten years working on projects noted above as well as The Ali Movie & The Scooby-Doo Soundtrack’s leading up to their most notable collaboration with OUTKAST. Beginning on Outkast’s second album and continuing on through their 10X Platinum record, "SpeakerBoxx", "The Love Below" (includes two songs co-written by the band), Outkast and Whild Peach formed a relationship that included co-writing, adding vocals and instrumentation and eventually with Whild Peach becoming the backup band on the group Outkast’s tours. Whild Peach is more than just a backup band. In addition to their work on Outkast’s tour dates and their hectic studio calendar, the band has started a busy touring schedule of their own playing over 100 dates in the last year at colleges, nightclubs, concert venues and festivals all over the United States. This Soul-Rock Slam-Down group’s tight ensemble includes guitarist/vocalist David Whild, drummer TUESDAY, bassist/vocalist Blue Gomes and guitarist Matt Hollums.
