A great LIGHT ride, but very versatile in lighter forms of music. The bell is low pitched but still piercing and easy to hit. The bow is on the washier side, so you won't get a defined ping but moreso a mellow ping with slight "tah" undertones (you could say that the ping gets lost in this ride). Crashes beautifully and has some high pitch ring in the crash that minimizes the gongy undertones typically found in larger diameter cymbals. Overall, it's a great cymbal but I wouldn't use it for heavier styles of music.
