The all-new SABIAN 21" AA MantaRAY is Ray Luzier’s signature Chinese cymbal, designed to deliver the explosive attack and trashy character of a traditional China with a lower pitch and exceptionally fast decay.

Metal Month was all about the heavier side of drumming, but heavy doesn’t mean every cymbal needs to do the same thing. Sometimes you need a ride that stays present when the guitars get loud.

SABIAN introduces the STRATUS Dry Collection, a complete lineup of dry cymbals crafted for drummers who demand controlled sustain, and precise articulation.

Released in March 2026, this episode of the SABIAN Podcast welcomed drummer Jess Bowen, best known for her work with pop-rock band The Summer Set, for a conversation hosted by our very own Stacey Montgomery-Clark, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Drumming isn’t just about keeping time; it’s about telling a story. Cymbals play a pivotal role in that narrative, offering a palette of sounds to convey texture, emotion, and intensity.

SABIAN continues to push the boundaries of cymbal design with the latest additions to the lineup. From cutting stack effects to dark, complex splashes, these new models are built for drummers who demand versatility, projection, and personality in their setup.

Building on the success of the HH Sessions Ride, our partnership with Todd Sucherman moves forward with two complementary crash families built for modern players: AA Spotlight Crashes and HHX Redlight Crashes.

The language of cymbals can feel like a whole new world, but understanding key terms is essential for every drummer.

At SABIAN, it has always been more than just cymbals; it’s about the people who bring them to life. From the very beginning, when Robert Zildjian founded SABIAN with a vision for innovation, it was the craftspeople, the artists, and the dreamers who shaped the company’s identity.

Choosing the right cymbals as a beginner drummer can feel overwhelming. With SABIAN’s extensive range, selecting cymbals that strike the balance between quality and affordability is key.

Cymbals are a vital part of any drum kit, orchestra, or marching band, and regular care and maintenance are essential to keep them performing their best.

At SABIAN, pushing the boundaries of innovation isn’t just what we do; it’s who we are. That spirit is alive and well in two of our latest creations: Cymbits and the XSR Effeks Clap.
