Mr. Schuetz holds a bachelor of music degree in music history and literature with a performance certificate from Ohio University, a master of music degree in percussion performance from the University of Tennessee and a teaching license in K-12 instrumental music from Maryville College.

In addition to studying percussion under Guy Remonko, Roger Braun, F. Michael Combs, and Keith Brown, he has also studied tabla with Chandrajit Chartur Lal.

Mr. Schuetz is the band and music teacher for St John Neumann Catholic School and the assistant band director for the Knoxville Catholic Wind Ensemble.

Mr. Schuetz is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association and the National Association for Music Educators. Mr.Schuetz gratefully endorses products from Innovative Percussion, Majestic Percussion/ Mapex Drums, and Sabian Cymbals.
