What are the best multipurpose instruments I’ve ever owned. The bell of the ride allows for subtle, low playing but also gives a sharp cut when more aggressive playing is needed. The sustain and overall pitch in the bow is fantastic as well. Glad I stumbled into this at my local shop.

If you loved the crashability of the old AAX Stage Ride but hated how small the bell was, this cymbal seems to a great successor, albeit perhaps slightly lighter weight. Crashes well with a bright bell that's easy to hit, with a defined ping when you ride the bow. Slight gong undertones when crashed hard but a compromise-type model that I'd slot between the medium and stage ride before Sabian changed the lineup names.
