I really enjoy the sound and tone of the Paragon Diamonback with the jingles and rivets ...It's dark but yet bright and trashy....I think if the hammered it like the older HHseries it could add even more depth to the cymbal and range ....I have a 16 inch PAISTE CHINA TYPE blue label - from bout 1995- 96 that is very close in sound except I think my Paiste is even darker - IS this China STYLE cymbal meant to be played upside down to avoid a direct hit to the cymbals sharper edge ?So you technically play it at the rounded area of the bow ?
