My Mom and Dad (personally), Alex Acuna, Neil Peart, Steve Gadd, Vincent Colaiuta, Fred Hinger, James Preiss (Manhattan School of Music), Peter Erskine, Giovanni Hidalgo, Francisco Aguabella, all the New York heavies in the pantheon of Latin percussion, and some special friends here in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland. Also, Igor Stravinsky, Jaco Pastorius and Kenwood Dennard.
