Vincent Dee was born in Springfield, Illinois. Vincent started performing at age 9 but turning professional at age 10 with his first group, “Johnny & the Cyclones.” During the High Schools years, his group “The Holidays” had earned 3 Top Ten songs on Local Radio WCVS 1450AM.

In 1967, Vincent earned the title of Illinois State Champion Drummer at the Illinois State Fair. In 1969, he left Springfield to tour with the world renown vocal group, “The Ink Spots.” Later that year, he joined international film and recording trumpet player, Ray Anthony, and his touring Big Band Review. He later moved to Chicago and worked for 5 years with Atlantic Recording Group “Jump ‘N’ the Saddle” Band, who recorded the Top Ten International novelty song: “The Curly Shuffle.” In 1985, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and joined country legend Brenda Lee. He toured worldwide four times during his 9-year tenure with Brenda, and appeared on countless national television shows. He also appeared at England’s Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium.

Vincent is a clinician and endorsee for Ludwig drums, SABIAN Cymbals, Gibraltar Hardware, Aquarian Drum Heads, Audix Microphones, Impact Cases, Pintech Electronics, and Silver Fox Stick Company.
