With a background in classical, funk, and Latin drumming, Adrian went on to study at the well respected Humber College in Toronto, With personal training from Toronto fixture Jim Blackley and years of experience, Adrian has seen the world. Extensive touring and recording has highlighted his list of achievements with numerous award winning and nominated artists / bands including Resident Musical Director/ Drum Captain for Blueman Group (Toronto ,Oberhausen Germany, Zurich, Vienna, Megastar World Tour, Norwegian Epic ) Nelly Furtado (Geffen), Alessia Cara (Def Jam) Carley Ray Jepson, Matt Dusk (Decca), Massari (Capital Prophet Records, Bass is Base (Polygram), Snow (EMI) and Ivana Santilli (Brown Recordings).
As a well-respected sideman within the industry he feels his main goal is to “make the artist comfortable and energized while serving the song first and foremost.” Raised on John Bonham, Phil Collins, Bill Bruford, and Kenny Arnoff he appreciates and respects their professionalism and dedication to their craft. Adrian wants to emulate the tradition of this art form through both teaching and practice.
