Anchor to the soaring melodies of In-flight Safety, Glen Nicholson’s late emergence as a drummer has come to define his sound and style. Picking up drums at age nineteen, Glen asserted his drumming style as IFS asserted their sound. Self taught, Glen relied on his ear and musical intuition to support and shape the sound of IFS. This approach to drumming has provided Glen with an incomparable knowledge of what is necessary to a song and the foundation for the feeling and technical prowess he displays in all of his performances. Glen’s style spans Roots, Country, Alt-Pop and New Wave genres that he supports with such acts as Jenn Grant, Christina Martin, and In-flight Safety.
