Jim Greiner is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning percussionist, educator, community drumming leader and inspirational speaker. He is based in the Monterey Bay/San Francisco Area of California. He travels worldwide performing, teaching and conducting interactive motivational rhythm programs for corporate team building, conference/meeting ice breaking, community events, schools and private groups.

Jim also leads Rhythm Power® Workshops and produces instructional/inspirational DVD’s that make it fun and easy for people from all walks of life to learn to play percussion instruments as a way to create and reinforce positive life skills and powerful life rhythms. He is renowned for using drumming to:

Jim is the percussionist with a 10-piece special events band that performs at corporate parties worldwide, and with powerhouse Soul/R&B/Gospel vocalist Sista Monica Parker. He also is active in the California recording scene and has played on numerous CDs, films and jingles.
Along with his array of Sabian Cymbals, Greiner plays congas, bongos, timbales, djembe, shekere, udu, cajon and a number of hand held percussion instruments. He has also developed a number of percussion instruments, including a fiberglass shekere modeled after a gourd he hand-picked.
