A key figure in the Los Angeles session scene, an instructor at the famed Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, and a clinician of international renown, Richie “Gajate” Garcia is rated as one of the world’s most accomplished and versatile latin drummer/percussionists. A graduate of the American Conservatory of Music, he is a member of the critically acclaimed group Hiroshima. As a session musician Richie has played virtually every musical genre, from movie soundtracks to global tours, performing with Phil Collins, Sting, Diana Ross, John Denver, Art Garfunkel and many,many more.
