The 21″ SABIAN Manta Ray was developed in collaboration with Ray Luzier over more than a year to create a completely unique accent cymbal. Its distinctive asymmetric shape delivers the explosive attack of a China with a lower pitch and instant decay, producing powerful accents that cut through the mix without lingering wash. Inspired by a real-world performance need and defined through extensive development, the Manta Ray balances projection with control, delivering a bold, musical voice that sits naturally alongside the rest of the kit in both live and studio settings.
