Jeff began playing drums at age 11. His obsession for rhythm and hitting stuff has lead him to work with Shred Guitar Guru, Paul Gilbert. Recording the 2006 “Get out of My Yard” and 2008 “Silence Followed By a Deafening Roar” instrumental albums, as well as playing for multiple world tours including the guitar spectacular G3 with Joe Satriani and John Petrucci

Along with Paul, Jeff has worked with wide range of artist including: Damir Simic, LarryMitchell, Philip Bynoe, D’amato, TJ Helmerich, Scott Ian, David Lee Roth,Michael Elsner, Taka Minamino, John Humphrey, Joy Basu, Michaelangelo, Space, RebeccaSt. James, Ginny Owens, Fusebox, Chris Tomlin, and Paul Colman Trio.

Education has always been an essential part of Jeff’s drumming life. As an instructor at Musicians Institute, Jeff has released a series of highly regarded educational material by Hal Leonard Publishing including: “Double Bass Drumming-The MirroredGroove System” Book/CD, “Essential Drumset Fills-The Component Rhythm System”Book/CD, and “Jeff Bowders-Double Bass Drumming Workshop” DVD.
