Jorge Forero is a Bogotá-based drummer, educator, and clinician with over three decades of experience behind the kit. Since beginning his drumming journey, Jorge has blended formal study, private mentorship, and self-driven research into a uniquely holistic approach. He leads Jorge Forero Drum Lessons (formerly Drum Boom!), a school he founded in November 2010, where he offers personalized instruction to students from beginners to seasoned professionals. Over the past 14 years, his studio has welcomed learners from around the globe—including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Argentina, France, and India—earning its reputation as Bogotá’s premier destination for tailored drum education.

Teaching & Drum School
In 2010, Jorge opened Drum Boom!, rebranded in 2017 as Jorge Forero Drum Lessons. His mission has always been to help students “discover how to follow dreams and practice” through:
- One-on-one instruction focused on logical, practical understanding of the drum set
- Song learning, technique refinement, and musical-style immersion (Latin, rock, jazz, etc.)
- Customized curricula that adapt to each student’s goals—whether preparing for live performance, studio work, or personal growth
