Dr. Brandon C. Dodge is a freelance percussionist, music educator, and composer/arranger currently based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brandon has performed extensively with several Atlanta and Cincinnati-based groups, such as Queen City Opera, Chamber Cartel, and Clibber Jones Ensemble, as well as recent performances at the Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. While obtaining his DMA, Brandon was a featured soloist with the CCM Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Unsuk Chin’s Double Concerto. A dedicated and enthusiastic educator, Brandon currently works as the Assistant Band/Percussion Director for East Central High School in Indiana. In the past, Brandon has served as Assistant Percussion Director/Front Ensemble Arranger for The University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands, the Front Ensemble Co-Coordinator for the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, and Front Ensemble Coordinator for Atlanta Quest Independent Drumline. Brandon holds percussion degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (DMA), Georgia State University (MM), and Jacksonville State University (BA) where he studied percussion and composition.
