With roots including Little Feat and Booker T and the MGs, Neil has discerning musical tastes. He’s also highly selective about his cymbal sounds. I like tone. I like that warmth and personality I can find only in Hand Hammered. With that I mix AAX crashes, which have more cutting bite. It’s a very compatible combination that gives me highs and lows, the full spectrum.
