Galeon
Andy Galeon is a Bay Area native who began performing and recording as an original member of Filipino Thrash Metal band Death Angel in 1982. Andy is credited as co-writer and co-producer on Death Angel records, as well as records by The Organization, a Metal/Rock band he formed in the 90’s.
Galeon has toured Europe, North America, and Japan multiple times. He has recorded with Bay Area artists and bands such as Big Shrimp, Swarm, Depressor, Psychomatic, Rob Cavestany, and Hadi Droubi. He can be seen and heard performing with Fos Rock, a band that features Fos on vocals, Khambeats on keys, and T-roy on guitar; it’s a supersonic blend of Hip Hop and Rock. Fos Rock just released their debut video “Hip Hop Rock”, directed by Derek Jones, and will be releasing a CD of the same name in 2012.
Galeon also performs with Yeibichai, a Progressive/Metal band from Sonoma County that fuses an organic Native American influence with a style that resembles Tool, Alice in Chains, and the Deftones. The Yei are gigging throughout the Golden State and have received airplay on 107.7, “The Bone’s Local Licks” program.
