Originally from Northamptonshire, UK, Terl started drumming aged 8, a passion which he largely contributes to his late father.
He writes, “Music was huge for my Dad and I have many great memories of the ways in which he inspired me. One time, aged about 10, we pulled up outside school in the car. My Dad’s music was on loud and then, on the track, there was this great drum break. I remember the immense pleasure we shared rewinding the tape and mimicking the part with imaginary drumsticks. Moments like that change everything."
