CAREER HIGHLIGHT: I’m grateful too have turn my love for drums and music into a full-time gig—playing, producing, and recording. It’s taken me all over: across Canada, the U.S., and parts of the world I never thought I’d see.

Hailing from Moncton, New Brunswick, Danny Bourgeois is a highly respected touring drummer, session musician, recording/mixing engineer, and producer with over 30 years of professional experience. He began playing drums at the age of five and was already performing in bars by 13. By 15, he had established himself as a studio session drummer—a role he continues to excel in today. He has since contributed to over 150 albums across genres ranging from hard rock and country to pop and folk.
In 2017, Danny was honored with the ECMA Musician’s Achievement Award, recognizing his dedication and impact on the East Coast music scene. He is the proud owner of Pumpk’n Patch Recording Studio and co-owner of Studio LaClasse in Memramcook, NB, where he works full-time producing, engineering, and performing on projects for artists across Canada.
Danny’s talent has taken him across the globe, having toured extensively throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. He has shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as Roch Voisine, Brian Vollmer (Helix), Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar), Chris Cummings, Shirley Myers, Aaron Pritchett, Greg Hanna, Tracy Starr, Wilfred LeBouthillier, Lisa LeBlanc, Pascal Lejeune, Caroline Savoie, Jean-François Breau, Chris Colepaugh and the Cosmic Crew, Garoche, Lina Boudreau, Angèle Arsenault, Édith Butler, and David Ball, among many others.
He is currently touring full-time with Les Gars du Nord, and also performs with Dominique Dupuis and Melanie Morgan, with whom he spent 10 weeks on CBC’s Cover Me Canada. His drumming has been featured in music videos for Chris Cummings, George Belliveau, and Les Gars du Nord, as well as on numerous CBC television specials and series, including Luc et Luc, Musikotrip, Clé, and Tout Simplement Country with Guylaine Tanguay, where he performed as the house band drummer.
